Clinical Lecturer in Trauma Surgery
Salary: £32,526 to £37,448, dependent on stage of training.
Applicants are invited for the position of Clinical Lecturer in Trauma Surgery in the College of Medicine. This post is available from 1.8.12 for a period of one year in the first instance.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate, committed to a career in Trauma Surgery either post-MRCS, aiming to make the transition to a training post, or nearing the end of training seeking specialist fellowship type experience. The post-holder will undertake a basic working week, comprising 40 hours, and will work in conjunction with Professor Ian Pallister, Professor in Trauma and Orthopaedics and Mr Peter Drew, Consultant in Burns and Plastic Surgery. The successful applicant will be based at Morriston Hospital. Although this post is not recognised for training, it would be attractive to those interested in pursuing a career in Trauma Surgery, whether the intended career path is in Trauma and Orthopaedics, Burns and Plastic Surgery or General and Vascular Surgery.
