CPFT is a Cambridge University Teaching Hospital Trust with very close links with the Department of Psychiatry, which provides a range of research and educational opportunities along with excellent Consultant colleagues and well established pathway teams to work with.

This post is based at the Newtown Centre, Huntingdon, providing a combination of care in the community through the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (Newtown Centre), along with input into the Assessment Unit at the Cavell Centre, Peterborough. In addition to providing alternatives to admission, the postholder is responsible for overseeing the assessment functionality for patients entering into Acute Care along with a fellow Consultant.

You should have full General Medical Council (GMC) Registration and be on the Specialist Register. Alternatively, you should be within six months of obtaining your Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
