TRUST APPOINTED JUNIOR MEDICAL DOCTOR
HAEMATO-ONCOLOGY, ONCOLOGY AND PALLIATIVE CARE
£29,705-£39,300 exclusive of London Zone
This post is a 12 month fixed-term appointment from 1st August 2012. GSTFT is made up of two of London’s best-known Teaching Hospitals and employs almost 11,000 staff. Last year, we saw 478,000 outpatients and treated 72,000 inpatients and 42,000 day case patients.
You will be part of Multidisciplinary Teams incorporating Medical and Clinical Oncologists, Haematologists and Palliative Care Physicians, and will be responsible for the care of inpatients under Consultants in these specialties. You will be expected to participate actively in the Department’s Audit and Clinical Governance activities with appraisal, as well as with the Junior Doctors' Teaching Programme. All posts include Comprehensive Induction, an Educational Programme and a full study leave allowance.
You should have sufficient medical experience by the start of the post. Part I (or Part II) MRCP or equivalent examination would be an advantage.
