A special clinical interest is welcome. There will be opportunities to develop Area Services with colleagues in associated hospitals. Research will be encouraged and there are ample opportunities to link with the Academic Units in Glasgow and Edinburgh, which are easily reached.
There is an active Postgraduate and Undergraduate Teaching Programme; the successful applicants will have the opportunity to apply for Honorary Lecturer status with the University of Glasgow.
Applicants should be qualified with full General Medical Council (GMC) registration, and a licence to practise in the UK. Candidates must be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of the anticipated award of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or a Certificate of Eligibility of Specialist Registration (CESR)(CP) in Respiratory and General Medicine at time of interview.
