Consultant Psychiatrist In Adult Learning Disability Wiltshire

Based: Marlborough
Area: West Wiltshire & Kennet (population 180,000 approx.)

Salary: £74,504 - £100,446 per annum

Hours: Full Time (10 PAs) or Part time

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Learning Disability, based at Postern House in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

The Trust provides in-patient & community services in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon and Wiltshire which specialise in assessing and treating people who have learning disability, challenging behaviour and /or mental health related problems.

The Trust enjoys a national reputation for its high quality, person-centred services. There are good links with Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities and applicants would be encouraged to become involved in the highly regarded Higher Training Programme.

The Trust is going through a merger process which is likely to be complete in the Autumn of 2012.

Applicants must be fully registered on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register. Specialist Registrars may apply if within 6 months of CCST in Learning Disability Psychiatry.

This is a full-time post but candidates who wish to work part-time for personal reasons are encouraged to apply.
