As a mental health professional, you’ll know that
a problem shared is a problem halved.

At Affinity Healthcare, we know that it takes more than one person to help our patients make progress. Join us and, rather than being an isolated cog in the wheel, you’ll be a crucial part of an integrated care pathway, working with multidisciplinary team colleagues to help your patients achieve the very best outcomes possible.
Affinity Healthcare is an independent sector organisation - with the many positive associations that brings - but with formal NHS service contracts in place, it also has all the stability of a public sector organisation too. Couple that with excellent statutory regulatory reports and a fantastic location next to Manchester and the
Peak District National Park, and you have a career destination that’s second to none.

Specialty Doctors (Mental Health) Post 1: Young People Post 2: Eating Disorders
£52,443 - £72,443 pa (dependant on on-call duties)

Join us and you’ll be providing care to people with a wide range of complex
mental health problems and challenging behaviours. We’ll also rely on you to
undertake risk assessments, MDT liaison, outcome measurements and prompt
mental health assessments, reports and clinical summaries too.

To be considered, you’ll need a medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent), full
GMC registration with licence to practice and one year’s experience in mental
health. We’re also looking for a real commitment to participating in audit,
research, quality and performance management, as well as assessment of risk
and other appropriate clinical, management and professional activities.

In return we can offer you a solid commitment to your CPD through time and
budgetary allowances for study leave, help with Mrcpsych exams and our
excellent links with Manchester University.
