CONSULTANT IN OCCUPATIONAL
MEDICINE

Applications are invited for a Consultant in Occupational Medicine to work
alongside existing Consultants as part of a busy, vibrant and forward thinking
service, promoting best practice in Occupational Medicine. You will have
the enthusiasm and drive to develop the role and assist in taking the
service forward.

Our innovative Occupational Health Team provides a service not only to the
Pennine Acute Hospital staff but also to a number of external public sector
contracts including other NHS Trusts, a police force and local councils.
We also hold NHS Plus contracts with a number of small, medium and large
employers allowing for a wide range of experience. The service also incorporates
Mediscreen the Trust’s income-generating occupational health service.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that already includes Consultant
Occupational Physicians, Specialty Registrars, Specialty Doctors, Occupational
Health Advisors, Counsellors and other professionals.

You should be a good communicator, team orientated with a customer focused
approach. You will have the MFOM and be on the Specialist Register or expect
to be so within six months of interview. A car owner/driver is essential.
