Apply for a UK specialist training position if you are not in one already. You will need to obtain core training and then discuss with the deanery advisers about obtaining the specific training in your locality. Community gynaecology and infertility are rather different. You need to seek advice from individuals in these specialties and make a choice: it's your future.
If you are in such a training post already, make an appointment to see your local postgraduate specialty adviser. Their details can be obtained from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists' website, www.rcog.org.uk.
Read the background information first, decide what you really wish to do, and go in and convince the adviser why you should be considered ahead of any others.
